Is massage safe during pregnancy?

Yes — safe throughout all trimesters. Therapists trained in prenatal techniques use supportive bolsters. Consult your OB or midwife before your first session if you have a high-risk pregnancy.

When can I get postpartum massage?

Vaginal birth: within a few days. C-section: wait 4–6 weeks or until medically cleared. Always consult your provider first.

Facial FAQs

Which facial is right for my skin type?

We offer facials for oily, dry, combination, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. Your esthetician will assess your skin at the start of your appointment and recommend the best treatment.

How often should I get a facial?

Every 4–6 weeks is ideal for most skin types. Your esthetician will recommend a personalized schedule.

Will a facial cause breakouts?

Some clients experience a brief purging period after a deep cleanse facial. This is temporary and resolves within a few days.

Waxing FAQs

How long does hair need to be?

At least ¼ inch — about the length of a grain of rice. Avoid shaving for 2–3 weeks before your appointment.

Is waxing painful?

Some discomfort is normal, especially the first session. With regular waxing, hair grows back finer and the process becomes more comfortable over time.

What should I do before and after waxing?

Before: Exfoliate 24 hours prior, avoid sun exposure. After: Keep area clean, avoid heat for 24 hours, moisturize regularly to prevent ingrown hairs.

Brow & Lash FAQs

What brow and lash services does Li's Spa offer?

We offer brow tinting, lash tinting, lash lift, brow lamination, and brow waxing. Services can be combined for enhanced results — popular pairings include lash lift + lash tint and brow lamination + brow tint.

How long does a lash lift last?

A lash lift typically lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare. Avoid getting lashes wet for 48 hours after the treatment and skip oil-based eye products to extend results.

How long does brow lamination last?

Brow lamination results last 4–6 weeks. Avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours after the appointment and avoid oil-based products near the brows to maintain the shape.

How long does brow or lash tinting last?

Brow tinting lasts 3–5 weeks. Lash tinting lasts 4–6 weeks. Results vary depending on your skin type, skincare routine, and sun exposure.

Can I get a lash lift and lash tint at the same appointment?

Yes — and we highly recommend it. The lash lift + tint combination gives you beautifully curled and darkened lashes in one session. It's one of our most popular pairings.

Can I get brow lamination and brow tint at the same appointment?

Yes. Pairing brow lamination with a brow tint in a single session gives you fluffy, shaped, and perfectly colored brows — the complete brow transformation with no daily styling needed.

Is lash lifting or brow lamination safe?

Yes — when performed by a trained esthetician using professional-grade products, both treatments are safe for most people. We do not recommend lash lifts for clients with very damaged or fragile lashes, or brow lamination for those with very fine brow hairs or active skin conditions in the brow area. Please mention any sensitivities or recent cosmetic treatments at your appointment.

How long before a special event should I book a lash or brow treatment?

We recommend booking 3–5 days before a special occasion. This allows any minor redness to subside and gives you time to see how the results look before your event.

Can I wear makeup after my lash or brow treatment?

For lash tinting and lash lifts, avoid eye makeup for 24–48 hours after your treatment. For brow waxing and brow tinting, avoid applying makeup directly to the brow area for at least 24 hours.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my brow or lash appointment?

For lash services: arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes (no mascara, lash serum, or oil-based products). For brow waxing: avoid retinol or exfoliating products around the brow area for 48 hours before your appointment. For brow tinting or lamination: come with clean, dry brows.

Scalp FAQs

What conditions do scalp treatments help with?

Dryness, flakiness, excess oil, product buildup, scalp tension, thinning hair, and poor circulation. Your therapist customizes treatment to your specific needs.

Can I get a scalp treatment with color-treated hair?

Yes. We use organic, nourishing, non-stripping formulas gentle and safe for all hair types including color-treated and chemically processed hair.
